OLE server

When was using Win 98 and MS Office 2000, MS Access worked fine. Since I upgraded to Win XP and MS Office 2002, the Insert function in MS Access doesn't work. When I select the Insert function to insert an existing photo from an Image Expert file, the program freezes up and I eventually get the following error message "The operation on the OLE object failed. The OLE server may not be registered. To register the OLE server, reinstall it."

I don't know where to look for the OLE server or to register it or how to load it in the proper location.

I would appreciate any help.

If this was an upgrade over a previous operating system, many things can go wrong. Try reinstalling Office as a first step.
