Windows Restore

    I've looked through the messages re restore problems, but nothing seems to fit my situation. When I attempt to restore using either Xps automatics or one I created, XP does the restore, reboots, but then comes back and tells me "Restore could not be completed. Doesn't tell me why....can anyone help...thanks

    This may be related to the OEM version of XP that was discussed in another thread, but shuttting off SR, rebooting, and turning it back on clears all old restore points and sometimes solves restore problems.

    But you don't want to do this, of course, unless you don't need any of those old restore points.
