Everytime I log off, the Num Lock key goes off too. How do I get the Num Lock key to stay depressed permanently? Is there an XP setting?

Try this - search the registry (regedit) for any occurance of
InitialKeyboardIndicators and any you find that are set to 0 (zero) change them to 2.

Some may be set to non numeric values. Leave those alone.

Come to think of it - that is correct. It was something that puzzled me (briefly) some time ago, but, being lefthanded, I never use the number keypad so not a problem.

My WinXP Pro system returns to the numlock state it is in when I shut it down. Numlock On > Numlock On and Numlock Off > Numlock Off.
Is it possibly the Logitech Software that does this?

Thanks for the replies. I have found that there are 2 Registry values which need changing from 0 to 2.
Found the answer in previous posts. :p

    Searched under Num Lock.

    Thanks
