What does it mean when a computer completes booting and a message like this appears:

    "WJView Error

Could not execute main: the system cannot find the file specified "

After pressing Enter, things operate as normal

    Thanks for any help

    Hi Shaniko
Perhaps download and run both adaware and spybot ..and see if it clears up? My suspicion would be spyware.

    Hi Shaniko

This problem can be forced by improper deleting of files, java code calls, user errors, but MOSTLY by nasty scumware. Would suggest downloading Spybot , run it and see it that resolves your problem.

    Try re-installing the scripting host:

    http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...28-7071-4979-8a67-3cffcb0c2524&displaylang=en

    If that doesn't work:

Go to Start > Run and try re-registering some files by running these at the command line:

    regsvr32 msscript.ocx
    regsvr32 dispex.dll
    regsvr32 vbscript.dll
    regsvr32 scrrun.dll

Then, be sure wscript.exe is your default scripting engine:

1.) Go to Start > Run and type:
    cmd

    2.) Click OK.

3.) At the command prompt, type:
    cscript //H:WScript

(You should receive confirmation that wscript.exe is now your default scripting engine).

    4.) Type: exit
