password

I have xp and my password expires today. Only problem is everything i put in is wrong. I have put in everything I have ever used. Any suggestions

Hi Lisa

Suggest you try this :

Go to Start > Run and type in 'secpol.msc' - without the quotes

Navigate to Account Policies > Password Policy

Right click on Maximum Password Age > Properties and in the dialogue box which pops up set value to 0 (zero) - this means it never expires.

OK and exit Local Security Settings - this worked for me on a pal's machine with the same problem.
