add and remove programs icons changed?

I have a minor problem with icons in the 'add and remove progams'. I just built a new machine and installed XP Pro. After reinstalling several programs yesterday morning, I noticed XP replaced many of the icons in 'add and remove progams' with the same icon it uses on Windows update. This seems to create no other problem other than it looks funny, but does anyone know how to restore the icons that belong to the programs?

My System

Dave,

Try loading PowerToys for WinXP (download from MS) and use the Repair > rebuild icons facility.

It may work!
