I have Windows XP on my computer. My problem is: I am frequently disconnected from the internet. I have Worldnet as my internet provider. Can anyone figure out why this is happening? Worldnet tells me that there is nothing wrong at Worldnet. Thank you

    Broad band or modem?

If modem are you on a line that has call waiting etc.

If no call waiting pick up the phone for this line and dial say 5 listen to the silence. If you hear clicks pops or static you have a noisy phone line.

abx--Another question. Does this happen after a particular length of time you were logged on? (ISP's will sometimes dump you when you are "inactive ", which covers all sorts of definitions, like downloading a big program.)
Or after any other particular circumstances?
P.S. Another person was satisfied to use this program
