Microsoft Interactive Training

In Start/All Programs/ There is a folder called: Microsoft Interactive Training. The folder is empty.

I'd like to know if there is a way to fill it in, and to understand why Windows put there an empty folder.

Thanks in advance,

Hi Guivon
Maybe this will shed some light on it?

Hi, Daizy,

I continue bothering: After reading the link, I became afraid that this feature (MIT) is only for the PRO version. I have the Home Edition. I suspect that is the culprit. Home edition consists of only ONE DISK, and in your link they are speaking of not less than four disks.

Of course, if I am right, then Microsoft shouldn't have put an empty folder in my system.

Which takes me to another question: is there a way I can download the MIT or the Front Page from the Microsoft Site, or must I purchase the whole package?

Thanks a lot. About that Kofi you need, we are too far away, but who knows fate's ways? IOU1.

Hi agian
Did you double-click on My Computer and then on Control Panels. Double-click on Add/Remove Programs and find Microsoft Interactive Training from the list that appears? Just incase it's already there?
I'm running Office Pro, and I too only got one disk. I'll take a gander around and see if I can find you some more information. Failing that...is there a particular question about Office that you wanted answered?

Hi, Daizy,

We had a misunderstanding: I was talking about Microsoft Interactive Training for Windows XP, not for OFFICE. I've made a thorough search, and found that the program is called SPSI (step-by-step something, and that it should be in the Windows Directory, under a sub-folder called SBSI. (See:

http://support.microsoft.com/default...;en-us;q307460

Well, that folder is not there. It is not at all in my system. I looked for it in Microsoft database, to no avail. I could find a patch, but only for users who have already the program which is not my case.

I guess that the program is in my Windows installation disk. So now, I change my question: how can I extract a program from the installation CD, when I chose "Typical" installation, and many programs are not installed, unless one choses "Complete"?

Thanks again,
haim

PS: in add/remove, only programs which I installed manually figure. Not programs installed during Windows Setup.
