I am sure there is a very simple answer. The taskbar is now vertical on the right side of windows xp. How do I change the location of the taskbar to be on the bottom ?

    thanks

Can it not be dragged to the bottom?

Right click on the taskbar and untick, if not unticked already 'Lock The Taskbar'.

When your arrow is over the taskbar left click and hold, then move the arrow down to the bottom of the screen.

Id suggest right clicking and ticking 'Lock the Taskbar' so then it cant move again.

    Hi schamish
Great news on getting your taskbar back where you wanted it. Thanks for taking the time to post back and let us know!
