I had to reformat my husband's computer as it just was not responding correctly. I used the original Windows disk and did all the updating to bring the program to the present time.
I didn't realize that I was using the Administrator's User ID when the computer started and I added all his docuiment and programs using this account. I didn't realize it when I turned on the computer and the Administraton Account came up and I had to tap the enter key (no password) to let the desktop come up.
I now created a user account with his name (Paul) and now that comes up but none of his documents and programs are showing. Just his Printer.
Is there any way I can transfer the document and programs from the Administrator account to the Paul account.
The only way now (for some unknown reason) that I can get into the Administrator account is starting the computer in safe mode. Then I have a choice to select either account.
