Windows Vista [How to restore HP laptop]

    i have a load of **** on my hp laptop and want to restore it to new how do i do this

    Are referring to System Recovery or System Restore. They are two different programs.

    ian2163, you should have started a new thread in the forum that relates to your OS.

    But, to return your PC to factory settings you will need to do a full System Recovery. This will only be possible if you made Recovery discs when you first got the laptop or it has a Recovery partition on the hard drive. As you have not provided the make and model number of the laptop it is difficult to be more precise. Your best bet is to go to the manufacturers site and find the instructions to perform a System Recovery.

    If you need more help please start a new thread and provide the details of your laptop.

    If its an hp laptop it has a recovery partition.
