    hi guys.

i cant seem to run Daemon tools on my friend's laptop since i get an error saying i must turn off kernel debugger.

i know nothing about nothing on vista (barely know anything about my XP either) so would appreciate any help on how to do that.
also if i need to enter anything at a command prompt than instruct me on how to get there on vista. if i need something run as administrator - explain that as well.

thanks a lot for any sort of help :)

    cheers

sp3851 - your instructions contain an error .....

The correct command is bcdedit /debug off

i got the UAC off on the laptop (did i mention it was a laptop? dont think it matters) and got into CMD in the command propt and typed "bcdedit /debug off " and i even got a confirmation message saying the oporation was succesful and STILL when i try to run DAEMON TOOLS i get a message saying
"error, the program requires at least win 2000 with SPTD 1.60 or higher.
Kernel debugger must be deactivated "
