Location of advanced display settings

On my old PC using XP, I followed a tip and found on the Desktop Property's advanced properties area a window where I could fiddle with all the settings for menu bar sizes, fonts, sizes and similar "visual" settings. I used this to make the tabs in my Excel workbook larger to see. In Vista Home Premium, even though there is an "Advanced" button, it doesn't seem to lead to the same place. Are those settings available for tweaking in VHP? I would use the Search function but I don't know what search term would describe this issue. TYIA

Yep, but finding them is not entirely intuitive - or logical

Right click blank area of Desktop > Personalise > Windows Colour and Appearance > Open classic appearance properties ...... > Advanced button.
