    Hi all,

I need help with an issue of mine which is bothering me. I am using Windows Vista Home Premium and have the Keyboard setting of English (United States) - US checked from control panel >> from Regional and Language Option >> Keyboard and Languages >> Change Keyboards >> General

K back to my issue, whenever I type " or ~ in Windows Live Messenger Chat Windows, I need to accompany it with another random button in order for the " or ~ to be shown. I am not sure what has been causing it. As far as I know, only this 2 symbol is having problems.

Example: Hi, my name is "<any keyboard button>Vista "<any keyboard button>.

Have reinstalled the keyboard setting from control panel afew times but to no avail. Hope someone can help me out here. Thanks in Advance !

    Welcome to WindowsBBS;)

I'm not on a Vista machine right now - but in XP - it also has an Advanced tab where you can select the "language. "
