Windows Vista Windows Vista Webcam stopped working

    i have windows vista on my hp laptop and my webcam stopped working about a month ago. when i search for it in the start menu or using the control panel, i can not find it. i read that it might have gotten uninstalled by an update that vista installed but how can i know which one since it hasnt worked in so long?

    have you tried to reinstall the driver, that always helps and what would also help is a bit more description, such as what webcam you have, what software you use it with etc.
