Cool Creating a profile in Windows mail (Vista).

I have recently purchased a new computer with Vista Business as the OS.
1. When I try to send a web page as/in an e-mail,I am told that a profile needs to be created first.I don't know how to create this profile.I have tried to follow all the links to no avail.
NB. I do receive and post mail through Windows mail with out problem.

2.How do I transfer all my Outlook express folders from my old pc to my new 'Vista Windows Mail' programme?

My System

For exporting/importing messages from Express to Windows Mail, refer to these two links:

http://windowshelp.microsoft.com/Win...7994f1033.mspx

http://www.vista4beginners.com/Migra...o-Windows-Mail

As far as the profile problem, I am not quite sure - I never ran into that. I will do some research and get back to you.

In the meantime, maybe someone else will jump in here and anwser before I get back.

Hope this helps.

Mitch

Have you made Windows Mail the default in the Start Menu?

If not, right-click the Windows Orb (Start) > Properties > Start Menu Tab > Customize and make the email link point to Windows Mail. You should now be able to right-click a document or photograph > Send To > Mail Recipient > and key in your email details.

If it still doesn’t work, try changing a registry key. Click the Windows Orb (Start), type regedit, press Enter and navigate to registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Clients\Mail. In the right pane Double-click Default and type Windows Mail as the value data.
