    Well...
I'm having a lot of problems with my permissions to a large ammount of registry keys...

By the way, my english *****, so, plz, be patient...

    Ok, then:

I noticed it, when I was looking for the Start Menu Folder, for organizate it.
Then I saw that my Local Configuration was not available.
I did a search online and found what I was suposed to do.

    It worked!

Then, I, who hates the slow acrobat reader, and installed it just for an emergency, Tryied to unistall it. And got a error.

Unable to access the blah, blah, blah resgistry key. Verify if you have sufficient permission.

And I verified. Googled. And I found that I could not see the permissions there, but I could create my own and grant the owner of key. Even if has a lot of error, saying that could not apply the changes, it did worked.

And I was abble to uninstall that S****... sorry!

So... I was trying to uninstall Live Messenger, just to clean some files, and then... BANG! Another error of permissions...

What a 'crepe'.... (in my country it is how to spell a kind of food)
I want to have total control of my PC archives files, registry keys and folders and everything!!! Because I cannot run anything well in this... pseudo-PC!

AH! I running on a mounted PC by HP, Pavillion modell: a6530br. Just to warn...

Well... I gonna try search more, and more, and more, like I did for a whole mounth, but if none of this work, I'll be Obrigate (that is correct?) to format my PC. With, of course, The restore tool from HP...

Ok... Thanks for atention and future help... :)

    Welcome to WindowsBB tkg21 :)

Vista has a pretty tight reign on the registry permissions. No way around that I'm afraid. Sounds as though you're capable enough, so I recommend you continue working with it as you have been when you bump up against those PITAs, else you'll get really good at doing factory restores. :)

Yeah... I'll just have to wait untill I got another HD to do the Backups...

By the way, can I do the Factory Restore and partionate the free partition?
Like, my "D:" is named RESTORE, and It's a specified image format. I dunno wich.
    So, can I partionate my "C:" into "C: & P:" for example?
