    Good morning:

I have two programs that require admin privileges to start WinPCap's service which I've set to start automatically.

Can I somehow force these programs to start as non-admin, to bypass having to go through the UAC screen every time I start them?

    Hi AVT

    Welcome to the BBS!

Can be done with fancy footwork! BUT!

If all you want is to not have to deal with the UAC Elevation prompts then you can turn them off. Not needed if you are an Administrator.

TweakUAC http://www.tweak-uac.com/home/ have your full UAC without the mouth!

Firstly, thanks for the replies! However, I'd much rather leave the prompts there as-is, and simply have the programs run without elevation..

Second, for the first program, I found that I can disable it with rightclick --> properties --> run as administrator, so that's taken care of.

Not so easy for the second program..
