Desktop icons

I want to change the text color below the icons on my desktop from white to black and after many attempts I can NOT figure out how to do this.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks.

Right click on desktop and select Personalize. Then click on "Window Color and Appearance". Then when that opens click on "Open classis appearance properties for more options". Then click on "Adavanced" then pull down the drop box and select "Icon".

I had tried that and just tried again. Didn't work for me. I discovered earlier today that the only way I could get the text to change to black was go with the High Contrast White option.

I guess I need to experiment some more. It shouldn't be so hard to change the text color.

Thanks.

Thanks.

I'll give that a try.
