Just to let you know, it appears this update did not resolve the "Display driver stopped responding and has recovered" error message. I once again received this error messesge while working in Outlook 2007. How very disappointing!

Wow that *****. Well I hope SP1 will make Windows Vista more stable by fixing those error messages. Microsoft releases an update that claims to fix an issue but doesn't. Very dissappointing.

You should report this to Microsoft Support.

"Display driver stopped responding and has recovered"

Several days ago I updated the drivers for my Logitech mouse (MX 1000) and my Logitech keyboard (G15) and have not had the "Display driver stopped responding and has recovered" error messege since. Perhaps one of these device drivers is causing the conflict? If I get the error messege again, I will let you know.

Smile

Just to let you know, I am still getting the "Display driver stopped responding and has recovered" error message. How ever, Microsoft has released a hotfix for this, KB940105. I have just installed this hotfix, I will keep you posted as to the results.

Angry Some of these fixes do not work.

I'm sorry, but I have been running Vista Business since it's release. I have had nothing but problems with the Print Spooler stopping unexpectedly. I have installed the Vista drivers from the disk that came with my Brother 2040 printer & I have downloaded the fix listed. However, when I print the spooler stops. When I go to my services, the spooler is set for Automatic & will show as "started". Yet, if I right click that service, it has actually stopped. I usually have to reastart the spooler 3 or 4 times before I can print.
Does anyone have a true fix for this problem? I have 4 computers in our company as "test" computers before I convert everyone to Vista. All 4 computers have this same problem, and all 4 are connected to seperate stand-alone printers with the latest drivers.

I am not getting enough audio volume on Vista, whether I use Windows Media Player 11, or Real Player 11 Beta. I don't like having to use XP for viewing .avi and Divx movies. Is there a fix for that?
