Vista - speedtouch modem driver?

Can anyone sign post me to a driver for a speedtouch 33 please or offer any advice on how to get the xp driver to work in vista.

According to the Speedtouch site there is no Vista driver available - this hampered my beta testing of Vista ....

It would appear that a Vista specific driver will be available this month ....

Pretty dreadful when you consider that Vista has been around in beta form for over a year

Edit - could try the Thompson driver here ....

I drove all the way to my mates house tonight to help him set up his brand new pc. Couldnt figure out for the life of me why we couldnt get the modem to work. Then after 2 hours of trying It dawned on me. Several phonecalls later to vista helpline and virgin we find out there is no driver. I thought there might be something on the net but like you say its dreadful isn't it. Hopefully it will be available soon and the lad can use his new pc.

Just a quick update for anyone experiencing the same problem. The Driver on the BT openworld site for the Thomsen Alcatel Modem works.

However after finally sorting things I have to say we are not happy with vista at all. Its abrand new pc from Dell and it runs like something thats 10 years out of date and full of virus. Takes an age to start any new apps and hangs when browsing the net, scrolling around etc.

Not impressed at all.

Ive advsised my mate to go to xp.

Received the driver on CD this morning - no download available - works a treat
