Hi all, looking for assistance again please, but on a laptop this time :)

Running Home basic 32 bit SP2

I have tried to install an Adobe program but right at the end of install i continually get the message; Below mentioned application has failed to install; Shared Technologies.

I have the same program already installed on my tower pc running XP SP3 and didn't have this problem.

    Any suggestions please?

    TIA

    Martin

And are you getting it from the Adobe site or some other site?

Appears to be related to Adobe Photoshop - no specific version.

I suggest you check out the Adobe Forums, etc via this link to a Google Search.

Thank you all for your help. It appears to be a Visual Studio runtime problem. I've downloaded it from MS and hopefully this will resolve the problem....

The programme i was trying to install was Elements 10..

    Cheers again
