Cannot type in password in login prompt!

Hi

I have a domain controller which is in a locked state (CTRL+ALT+DEL) It is still live and working properly however I could not type in the password. I replaced the keyboard but same problem I could not get in! The mouse is working OK...

Forcing a shutdown is not an option as it is a 24/7 live server!! can someone suggest something? is there some sort of remote method I could use? also RDP is not enabled so I am *******...

Thanks a million

Is the keyboard USB?

Is there something like an OK button you could click on that would force an invalid password message and maybe wake the keyboard up?

Unless someone else has a magic trick up their sleeves - rebooting is probably your only option.
