[Slow logon (>4 min.) on Windows 2000 Server]

I have a windows 2000 server with XP workstations and DHCP is being handled by my Linksys router the problem is that when logging on to the server that the logon is very slow up to 4 minutes

please give me your thoughts

go fix your dns on the effected computer ... you have outside dns in your tcp-ip settings .. very comon newbee mistake.
