    Hi,

This is my first time posting here, so early apologize if I do something in error. I have a W2K3 Server that randomly crashed. I have included the output from the MEMORY.DMP file here. Any help to determine the cause of the crash is greatly appreciated!!

    Opened log file 'c:\debuglog.txt'

    DRIVER_CORRUPTED_EXPOOL (c5)
An attempt was made to access a pageable (or completely invalid) address at an
interrupt request level (IRQL) that is too high. This is
caused by drivers that have corrupted the system pool. Run the driver
verifier against any new (or suspect) drivers, and if that doesn't turn up
the culprit, then use gflags to enable special pool.
    Arguments:
    Arg1: 00000004, memory referenced
    Arg2: 00000002, IRQL
    Arg3: 00000001, value 0 = read operation, 1 = write operation
Arg4: e089bac3, address which referenced memory

    Hi Lowrider

This is pretty defenitely a Driver issue so what is the last driver you updated?

Or a new update from M$ that now conflicts with a driver!

So do the below in order presented.

Before doing anything I would get the below and backup!
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------
To add System Restore to Server 2003

    http://www.windowsreference.com/wind...n-server-2003/
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------

Add a redundent Reg backup, get and install ERUNT let it add itself to startup and do a backup on install check all boxes.

    ERUNT http://www.larshederer.homepage.t-online.de/erunt/
Yes! Even if you use system restore and other backups Registry and Images.
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Cleanup system

D/L install and run ATF-Cleaner clear all except passwords in all browsers you have. Run repeatedly until no more found.

    http://www.majorgeeks.com/ATF_Cleaner_d4949.html
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------

D/L and install CCleaner: Clean temps and registry. Run both (temp and registry) repeatedly until no more found.

    http://www.ccleaner.com/download/bui...wnloading-slim
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Clean and update Java
Cleanup old Java and update to newest version this program will do it all for you.

    Download JavaRa http://prm753.bchea.org/JavaRa.html
Unzip it, run it, cleanup old versions then use the update, chose Jucheck first and if you do not have Jucheck then chose Update using Sun..
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------

Instead of me typing all the steps learn about abd use Driver verifier
    http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&...official&hs=4fG&q=driver+verifier&btnG=Search

Are there any events that point to this. Clear the event logs so they will be more readable on the next occurance.

In Device manager is all well? Any red x's or yellow exclamations go to view and click show hidden devices. Any Unknow or Other devices?

Finally when you can shutdown to do to safe mode and run Atf and cclean again.

    Mike
