I have managed to change the address of one of the SBS users from

    firstname.lastname@domain1.com >> to >> firstname@domain2.com

I changed the address in Active Directory User and Computers and email works, but the outlook global address book shows the email address as firstname.lastname@domain1.com. I need it changed.

Basically, I don't want to rename the entire domain it can stay as domain1.local, I just want email addresses renamed with the new domain2.com email address, we get the email via POP.

I tried to clear the Outlook Auto Complete Cache, but I could not find any files with the extension '.nk2'.

    Any ideas?

I am having some problems because my server is domain.local and it assumes that all email addres with my domain are @domain.com, but those email addresses have now changed to @domain2.com. I had problems all day yesterday and to add to the problem i replaced the SBS POP3 Connector with the Exchange Connector from Quantum Software Solutions. This has not really caused the problem but hasn't helped.

The POP situation is fine and the Exchange Connector is doing a good job so i recommend it as a replace to the SBS POP connector, as the 15min turnaround was getting complaints from users.
