Question Extending AD Schema to windows server 2003 R2

HI
I have two domain controllers on the network (PDC and BDC) and both windows 2003 32 bits. I also have exchange server 2003 on a separate machine. I am planing to put a new windows 2003 R2 64 bits server on the network and I will make it domain controller (BDC at this stage) and later when I have a second 2003 r2 64 bits domain controller (BDC as well) on the network, I will promote first BDC to PDC and retire both windows 2003 32 bits servers from the network and uninstall ADs from them. I know how to do this all, I will have to extend AD Schema on current Windows 2003 to Windows 2003 R2. I have a lot of document explaining all those steps. One thing that no one has mentioned is existence of exchange 2003 in Windows 2003 r2 AD schema. My question is, when I will extend windows 2003 AD schema to 2003 r2 schema, will I have to do anything to my exchange server or will AD schema changes automatically replicate to my exchange server as well.

Please help me

Thanks

There should not be any change relating to exchange schema in AD with the R2 change.

If you are nervous you can take one domain controller off the network so the changes are not replicated. If you have any dramas you can then restore the settings.

I've got 2 32bit 2003 Server SP1 DC's and a couple of new 32bit 2003server R2 SP2 to replace them - it looks like I basically need to update the schema on the existing schema master with the R2 cd before I can bring the new servers online as DC's - is that correct?
