We have Exchange as our front end SMTP server, and Exchanage as our internal server. On the SMTP server antigen scans for spam and viruses then delivers to our exhange server.
Last weekend, the internal DNS that the smtp server pointed to, crashed, ( it is up now) since then outgoing internet email is delivered in minutes, incoming internet mail takes hours if it ever gets here. I am at a loss. Any ideas? Even the copy maching that uses SMTP mail to send scanned docs internally is not getting delivered in a timely fashion if ever.
Thanks for any help or suggestions.
