Macromedia error message

Every time I log onto the Pc an error message appears in a box.About 20 of these messages appear on top of each other.
All it says is:
Error X
Could not find the Macromedia Flash.

I do not have Macromedia flash in my programmes
How do i get rid of this, thanx.

Large numbers of pop-ups at startup will always make me check for malware. Look at the suggestions in the "sticky posts" at the beginning of the Malware and Virus forum.

Macromedia Flashplayer is an add-on to your internet browser. It is now Adobe Flashplayer

Many websites use it to play graphics.
