Hello all, I have an old toshiba satellite with no cd drive or usb port. I want to create 2 partitions (1gb each) but when I install windows 95 (from floppy) it wipes the hdd and creates a single (2gb) partition. What I am trying to do is install win98se (which I have on cd), by copying via direct cable connection.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi again, I managed to get win 95 to install by finding (and using) the /x switch after setup command in autoexec.bat on the boot floppy, which I believe turns off hard disk error checking during installation. A long week of reinstalling finally comes to an end! (til the next pc falls into my lap i guess).
Btw great site, I found many usefull threads during my searching.
