But when I connect using Juno's dialup connection it seems to overide the default browser and opens with Juno's version of IE.
Juno's software is designed that way. There was/is a trick is to get a dial up connection without their software ever coming up, but it can only be done if Juno was never on the system, or ALL the guts have been ripped out, and never using the builtin email client.
Uninstalling and then trying it does not work.
However, the use of this method is guaranteed to have them ban someone for life as a customer, so I won't post how to do it. Believe me, I know for certain they will, did it to me, took them a year to notice.
