Does anyone have a driver that will work in WIN 98 (not SE) to drive a USB flash drive?

If the drive didn't come with one you should look on their web site.

Thanks for your help. The device comes up as USB 2.0 Flash Disk USB Device (1.01 GB) -- drive 2. Not much help. Those 2 sites are 2 of about 12 I have tried. It is easy to find SE drivers but not 98. I have tried a few non specific 98 drivers and 1 95 driver. the all come up not comatible with my version of windows.

    Windows 98 usb driver

First a lot of the usb memory sticks do not list on the package that they work with Windows 98 se
Often these models are just larger versions of the older usb product and the drivers are available at the manufacture's site for the model or at the worst try a smaller , older drive

Secondly the threshold for most of these drives was Windows 98 SE . The SE version is a distinct product from the original Windows 98 .
A lot more drivers + are included in the SE version.
I once had an idiot on ebay lecture me of "second version" and its history.
I linked back to a description on the official Microsoft website.
The email I got back from this girl was a lesson for me to learn the proper evolution of the windows product line>

    Windows 95 > Windows 98 > Second Edition > Windows ME > XP

she was more than insistent that it was "Second Version" and why did I not know that.
Why cannot I meet such stupid women in my day to day travels ?

Anyways I do not think you will have any luck with usb drivers for Win 98.
Win 98 SE ( or properly "Second version" ) seems to the threshold.
