I am using USB external drives (2.5 inch) to port data between systems and as temporary backups. My system dual boots WinME and W2k. In W2k I get an eject button in the taskbar to allow me to "stop" the drives before I remove them. In WinME I cannot find out how to enable this feature. I often get blue screens when ejecting this media under WinME. Win2k actually gave me a window the first time I did it that allowed me to "turn on" the taskbar button.
Can anyone tell me how to enable this feature in WinME? I've looked just about everywhere I can imagine but have been unable to discover a solution.
