PCI Driver for DP35DP not installed, not recogn USB driver for HP Printer
1. While Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor said no problem, after installation of Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit OEM, the Other devices from Device Manager showed "PCI Simple Communications Controller" not installed. I couldn't find the driver from Intel for that mother board "DP35DP". Can anyone supply that?
2. During installation of HP Photosmart C5280 All-in-One printer (new download 64-bit compatible software) from HP website, to the point that asked to turn on the printer and connect the USB cable, Windows 7 gives a message "USB Device Not Recognized" and Universal Serial Bus controller has a new "Unknown Device". None of the USB ports worked. A Level 2 Uninstallation for the printer was done, and software re-installed to the same point and was stuck. The same printer and same software was successfully installed on a notebook with the same Windows 7 Home Preimum 64-bit. Why this desktop computer didn't work? Is it related to the "PCI Simple Communication Controller" problem. If it's the case and if it can't be resolved, then this Windows 7 installed computer could not have any new printer installed!

Yes! The Management Engine Driver for Intel 3 Series downloaded solved the first problem (PCI related) and no more "!" on the Device Manager list. I'll see if the USB problem is also resolved so that HP printer could be detected.
It's good to solve the PCI driver problem! It is found out irrelevant to the USB Not Recognized problem. See below.
The HP printer USB Not Recognized problem is also solved by replacing the USB cable with a shorter and thicker cable. The original one has no problem and is working fine on other brands' printers. It seems that HP printers have less tolerance on the 3m USB cables, when the PC is running Windows 7 64-bit.
I remember that Epson clearly stated that a cable no longer than 1.5m be used although the USB 2 spec states something like 10 - 15m and it was a USB 2 printer. I ran my Epsom off a 10m cable without issue.
