This is my first day with Windows 7. In looking through computer for sale items on Craigslist, I wanted to click on the link that sends a response to the person posting the item for sale. A pop up states that this action could not be performed because the mail client is not properly installed.
The Craigslist posting also has the option to email this posting to a friend.
As a test, I emailed it to myself, and it showed up in my mailbox just fine.
I am using Comcast and access my email through the homepage by clicking on email which then takes me to the Comcast Smartzone.
I briefly played with windows Vista, and saw that they had what I assume is the Vista equivalent to XP's outlook express. I think it was called Windows Mail. I never bothered to set that up, and chose to read my email through comcast's home page.
On the computer that has XP, I was able to access my email through both, Outlook Express and Comcast Home Page>Smart Zone.
Looking around Windows 7, I don't see any program that sounds like anything to do with email.
How do I properly set up the mail client on this Windows 7 laptop?
I am receiving emails ok through the Comcast Smart Zone.
    Thanks

Thank you Tony. I downloaded and installed Thunderbird. Works great. I appreciate it.
