Resolved Limit/Filter Automatic Updates

    There is an update that breaks Remote Desktop. I prefer to continue with automatic updates but I want to stop that specific update (KB 2984972) from being installed. Is there a way to configure automatic updates to do that or am I stuck having to do the "ask" option all the time to stop that update? TIA.

    As in the past - anytime there is a known issue with an update - it'll get fixed.

    BUT, you can right click on an Update and select the HIDE option.

    But does that work for automatic updates?

    In the mean time, I uninstall it and it gets re-installed at the next update.

    It should do apart from a warning that you have hidden updates. The only difference between automatic updates and notify is that with the latter option you chose which one's to install rather than Windows automatically installing all that are offered.
    Hide it and check if it is installed on 11 Nov. I would think not.

    If it is hidden it will not install as I have a few hidden.
