Resolved The remote procedure call failed

    Getting the following message when clocking on most icons after a reboot:

    "THE REMOTE PROCEDURE CALL FAILED AND DID NOT EXECUTE. "

    System restore couldn't fix it. Running W7 Ultimate 64Bit. Any ideas?

    All's well. Turned out to be a Services problem. Had to start "Remote Procedure Call" which somehow was turned off.
