Resolved Start Up Slow?

    Just how long or what controls the length of time when you start a computer to when it is ready to use. When I turn my computer on, it takes 60+ seconds before the Windows Logo appears and then another 45 seconds of black screen befoe the "welcome" screen and then another 15 seconds before my desktop appears. My computer specs are given.

    Thanks all, problem is solved had a bad sector in hard drive that was causing all kinds of problems.

    How did you figure that out? You have done other things to you PC since you started this thread.

    I didn't. A Master Tech did or so he says. The computer would hang up but not every time. What the heck it's better.
