I'm fairly new to Windows 7 64-bit though it has been running very well for a few months. Just tonight I have had an error message upon booting up. It says-

There was a problem starting C:\Users\a\AppData\Local\Temp\CT3287811\plugins\TBVerifier.dll

The specified module could not be found. I have my C Drive backed up on another drive with Acronis but I've never used it and don't really know how to go about it.

Can someone please help me with this as I have work that needs to be done asap.

    Thank you,

    bellisimo

    Hi bellisimo.

Please download and run Autoruns. After you download the zipped folder on your desktop, right click the zipped folder and click Extract All. After the folder has been extracted open the regular folder. Run the autoruns.exe program by right clicking on it and selecting Run as Administrator. When you open the program click the Logon Tab and then post a screenshot of the Logon Tab in your next reply.

    Hi Evan,

I made a screen shot in Photoshop but I don't know how to send it. Are you able to expand all the items that have check marks in them when I do send it? If not, it will take more than one or two screen shots, which is no problem.

Please tell me how to send them.

    Thanks,

    bellisimo

    Hi again, Evan,

I just realized it's nearly 3 a.m. here, so I'll check in with you tomorrow.

Sorry, but I've never sent a screenshot before on this forum.

    Thanks,

    bellisimo

See this link, How to Take Screenshots.

Once you have the screenshot saved then click the Go Advanced button on the Windowsbbs forum page and click the Manage Attachments button to upload the screenshot.

Honestly - this is not rocket science :)

First size your image to jpeg < 250k .....

Then click on Go Advanced below the Quick reply window - screenshot 1

The next screen you will see is this one - screenshot 2

Click on Manage Attachments to reveal this screen - screenshot 3

Click on the Browse button and browse to the image you wish to attach - highlight it, click open and then click on Upload and when uploaded click on Close this window which will return you to your thread - screenshot 4 showing the uploaded image - screenshot 4

Click on Preview post and you should see your attached thumbnail in the Preview pane

Click on Submit reply - that's it :)

    Hi Peter,
Okay, I have finally made a total of 15 BMP screenshots. The Jpegs were too big. I hope this is all right.

I'll have a go at posting them to the site now.

    Thanks for your patience:)

    Windows 7

    I'm sorry Peter,

I have all the screenshots made, all 15 of them, but I don't understand how to upload them to Windows BBS. When I click on Go Advanced I don't see what you describe. I must be doing it wrong. When I tried to upload them using
Manage Attachments, it didn't work for me either. I must sound pretty thick, but I'm trying.

Can you please help me to understand what to do next?

    Thank you,

    bellisimo

    BPMs are bigger than jpegs.

Have you tried the snipping tool in Windows 7 and saving the snips as jpegs?

    Hi James,

Thanks. No, I'm pretty new to Windows 7 but I can change the bmp files into jpegs, can't I?

If not, I'll just make them again. Please let me know.

    Thanks again,

    bellisimo

    Hi again,

I'm wondering now if the file I posted is all Evan was asking me for in the first place. I had thought that he might need to see all of the items expanded in which case it would have needed far more screenshots. Please let me know.

    Thank you,

    bellisimo

Yes, it can be done with MS Paint. Open the photo in Paint and just click "save as" and select "jpeg picture" from the slide-out menu. Just make sure your finished jpegs are 250KB or less in size. If they are, you'll have to crop them a bit.

The snipping tool allows you to select just what you need instead of the entire screen. It's very handy.
