Win 2000 password

I just got a windows 2000 machine from a friend who has forgotten their password is there any way to bypass it or change it?

My System

There is no way to bypass it but it can be reset in computer management.

It is possible an Administrator password was not set when 2K was installed (I've seen it quite a lot) so you could try loging on as Administrator and leaving the password blank.

The other thing I have seen is folks will make the Administrator password "administrator" [no quotes]
