Stop:c0000263 Blue Screen

Hi everyone i am new to this forum, I have a laptop and recently i have installed win 2000, I have added Services Pack 4. becouse i have a wireless device that only install from service pack 4 to vista. I have opened internet explorer and after i had some trouble to surf i decided to restart win. but the machine didn't let me it was saying ' you do not have permision to restart' so i have resest it and from now on it is apperaing a blue screen with

Stop: c0000263 driver entry point not found the\systemroot\system32\drivers\Beep.sys device driver could not locate the entry point Psget currentprocess in driver ntoskrnl.exe??????????????????'??????.

How can i fix this please with out reformat my Laptop. or maybe pass these blue screen couse even in safe mode is making it.

I have the same problem. I even don't know why this error occurs now. I think I have nothing changed in system (?)

This appears to be a driver problem and possibly an error as a result of the video driver not being updated along with everything.

Find what kind of video drivers you have and download and install the correct drivers. That error has appeared in a number of other machines on the net, and seems to be video.
One thing you could try is to either disable that video (if on board) or remove the video card, and use a generic video card to see if it will boot. If it boots, then you can search for the video card drivers for the upgrade you have installed.

The other choice is to try to get to safe mode and remove the installed upgrade from control panel. If you remove the video card or disable it, then you can install another card, but you will be running without the video drivers, and may have problems trying to run the system in low rez. ... but not many choices when something like this happens.

Problems like this can be caused by other things such as viruses or spam.
