win 2k crash

Have been running win2k for a while
P3 800, 384 mb ram, 40 g HD, so the point is it more than meets the requirements for the OS. However, everytime I go into a folder and try to drag something or double click it the whole folder crashes, any suggestions?

Put your user account in the Administrator's group.

Put his user account in the Guests group (or maybe the User's group if you are feeling nice).

Then he can't mess the PC up very much no matter how hard he tries.
