Duplicate entries under task manager

In the Task Manager, should there ever be duplicate entries under the Processes tab with the same user name? With different user names? Also,do you run msconfig in 2000 the same way as in xp?When trying to run msconfig on a dell laptop running 2000,a new box would pop up saying it couldn't find a file or folder named msconfig, please make sure the path was correct.

Some dupe entries are normal. Might list out the ones you have quesitons about.

Win2k doesn't come with msconfig...But you can download it for the following:
msconfig from WinXP: Ripped from WinXP, can be used in Win2k

Thanks for the lightning fast reply Steve....actually a friend called me at work last night about a memory shortage problem and I told him about msconfig to shut down some programs that were running in the background. He told me that he had done that before with this pc,but obviously it was another pc. I believe he told me it was exploer.exe that was a duplicate entry but I will have him come to WBBS and post himself.
