ICS problem after applying latest set of security patches

Just posting in case others encounter this and wonder I way to fix it / get round it ....

After applying all the security patches that came through last Thursday [16Oct03 - NZ time], my home network stopped working on Win2000 system reboot. i.e. None of the machines, except the primary ICS machine (Win2000 Pro) could access the internet.

I tried this - went in to the network settings and de-selected ICS on the internet NIC & OK-ed that. Then went back in and re-selected it again. After an initial SVCHOST.exe crash when re-activating it & repeating the un-tick / tick process, the home network start working again - no reboot required of either ICS or client machines. Been working okay ever since.
