Change the domain name of w2k server

Hi all,

I would like to know how to change the domain name of my w2k server. After I 've installed AD, I realised I have the incorrect domain name for the server. How do I rectify without changing the user lists I have created?

Thanks

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I believe a root of the forest has to be formatted if a name change is needed.

i'll second that. you cannot change the name or the root, unless you re-install the o/s.
