Can anyone please interpret this Event Viewer report (reproduced below).

    The circumstances are as follows:
During recording of a live church concert - using GoldWave - the recording process suddenly went into pause mode. I was unable to resume recording by pressing the pause button, but pressing "Stop" worked, so I was able to save the recording so far and begin again with a new recording, but a portion of the concert was lost.
I need to determine whether this problem was caused by GoldWave or Windows. I'm due to record another concert this Saturday (30th April), so the problem must be sorted before then if at all possible.

There is no information in this event that would help you with the error.

The only info is that GoldWave.exe has been added to your user group (presumably when you installed it, or when you launched the program).

Thanks, Arie, for your comments. The report was dated and timed at exactly the time of the problem occurring. It also happened the previous day during rehearsals, but that time the recording lasted only 4min 46sec. During the concert, after I had started recording again, it ran for a further 47min 42sec, until I stopped it during the interval. The entire second half of the concert recorded perfectly, lasting 56min 32sec. I had previously recorded entire concerts using the same equipment without any problems, which is why I'm totally stumped this time.

I'll consult GoldWave themselves on this one. In the meantime I'll mark the thread RESOLVED.
