    Hello Everyone,

Using Lenovo laptop G585; W.7. Home Premium

With a complete lack of any technical knowledge, I have received the option to Install W.10.

Having seen all the odd problems that seem to affect those who have installed W.10, I do not feel very secure in doing this by myself as I have no ability to address them if they should arise!

I am really looking for guidance on whether to go ahead and maybe lose some function(s) that are installed in my present computer, or leave it to be done and pay some technician to do it for me.

    Thanks,

    Colinito

You have until July 29, 2016 to install the free upgrade to Windows 10. So if you are not feeling confident yet hold off for a while.

Thank you ELL JAY 50, will do! Feel a bit better to know that I have some "leeway" in the time to get it done.

You're welcome. It you click on Thread Tools just above you first post then scroll down to the last entry on the list and click on it. It will mark this thread as Resolved. If you ever want to reopen this thread follow the same procedure and click on the last entry and it will remove the Resolved prefix.
