Resolved MS Outlook Password

    My Windows 10 profile developed problems that required me to create a new profile. I created a new profile and copied MS Outlook 2013 pst file from C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook to the corresponding folder of the new profile.
    When I try to open Outlook in the new profile, I am being prompted for a password!:(

    Have you tried your MS account password? You did create an MS account? Neil.

    If the pst had a password to begin with then the same password should work.

    If you get a password prompt like this, it's a password to open the pst file. If so, you'll have to find some other resource to recover the password. Is this what you get or is outlook prompting for email account or sharepoint passwords?

    Yes. That's what I get.
    The pst in my old profile does not have a password!

    Usually when a PST is exported there is an option to set a password, password could also just be blank.

    Forum rules prohibit us from directly telling how to obtain passwords for Windows and other software. Google is your friend in such cases.

    Error messages attached. They appear when I click the MS Outlook icon (i.e. try to open outlook)

    Re-read TonyT's post. The forum clearly states that we cannot help you in obtaining passwords for Windows and other software. Perform a google search on the subject.
