DSL vs. Cable Modem

Can anyone give me an opinion as to whether DSL or cable modem is better? Thank you very much. abm

i prefer dsl over cable reason is because phone lines are buried so the only disruption would be if say a construction crew were digging and cut the lines. cable seems to be more susistible (spelling) to weather conditions just like your cable tv would be.

dsl is catching up as far as speed goes and also from what i know of cable your subscription base could cause speeds to be slower depending on how many people in your neighborhood are on at the same time.

dsl is catching up. we have 6mb ability and the new card they put in there hub can go up to 20.
