    nope

Sorry, tried all of that. Thanks though. Unfortunately, it wont be a quick google and post. I have tried just about everything. So, unless you have been through this issue before and found some little trick, i prolly tried it. Let me know if anyone comes up with some magic.

    nope

the only protection i know of on the machine, is AVG 7.5 that is deployed through our remote Kaseya agent. It makes AVG run in the background.

But no, no norton or mcafee.

    In Windows XP, go Start>Run
    In Vista, go Start>StartSearch

    Type in:
    cmd

    In Windows XP, click OK.
    In Vista, hit Enter.

    Command Prompt window will open.
    Type in:
    regsvr32 wuapi.dll (<----watch for "space" after "regsvr32 ")
    Hit Enter.

Repeat same regsvr32 command for following files:
    wuaueng.dll
    wucltui.dll
    wups.dll
    wuweb.dll
    atl.dll
    softpub.dll
    wintrust.dll
    initpki.dll
    mssip32.dll
    softpub.dll
    wintrust.dll
    initpki.dll
    dssenh.dll
    rsaenh.dll
    gpkcsp.dll
    sccbase.dll
    slbcsp.dll
    cryptdlg.dll

Restart computer, and try to access web site(s) in question again.

    Keep it coming

I have already done that. Actually, Dial-a-fix does all that plus more. And that hasn't worked either. There has to be some TCP/IP Parameter that can be reset.

Anyone who has run into this problem before knows what i am talking about. I have done alot of Google searching and tried all the fixes. So i think i need some "ah-ha" trade secret.

I have a feeling i will eventually have to reinstall XP.

NOTE: U know what? Firefox works fine. It is just IE that cannot render the encrypted page. I did install IE7 and it still didnt work. I also reset everything back to factory defaults in IE7. A reinstall of IE6 does not work either.
